Girls Gymnastics Team

The goal of EGA's Women's Gymnastics program is to bring our young athletes to their fullest potential in competitive gymnastics.

Our competitive team program puts an emphasis on discipline, perseverance, mental awareness, and team unity. Our highly experienced coaching staff is dedicated to offer each gymnast the best professional instruction in competitive USA Gymnastics. They are extremely passionate about their role in guiding gymnasts through training and helping them develop into strong, disciplined athletes both mentally and physically.

Our competitive girls team members practice 8-25 hours per week.

We are proud to announce Myla Ballard (JO Girls Level 5) as our January Student of the Month!

Myla's favorite event is Floor because "Floor is my best event and I like tumbling!" Her favorite gymnastics skill is "Back Tuck". Myla started gymnastics when she was only 5 years old. To date, her biggest gymnastics accomplishment is "Getting my back-walkover on beam!". Although having to keep going after a bad fall can be challenging, learning new skills makes it all worth it! Myla's favorite book is the Land of Stories. Not a lot of people know Myla has taken figure skating lessons, and when she is not at the gym... She loves making cookies and being outside!

EGA is CLOSED December 24th, 25th, 30th, 31st, & January 1st. We will not hold Special Events, Open Gym, Recreational Classes, or Team Practices these dates.
 

EGA's Level 3 Team takes FIRST PLACE at State!

We are so proud and excited for our gymnasts -- Their dedication and hard work really paid off after receiving an all-around Team Score of 114.075 at the 2017 Minnesota Compulsory Level 3-5 State Championships!

We are proud to announce Anika Campbell (JO Girls Level 3 Team) as our November Student of the Month!

Anika's favorite event is Floor because "I like to tumble!" Her favorite gymnastics skill is "a double back hand-spring". Anika started gymnastics when she was only 6 years old. To date, her biggest gymnastics accomplishment is "Making it on Team". Although bars can be hard, tumbling makes it all worth it! Anika's favorite books are J. B. Jone's Books, and when Anika is not at the gym... She tumbles some more!

We are proud to announce Elizabeth Hallum (JO Girls Level 9 Team) as our October Student of the Month!

Elizabeth's favorite event is Floor because "I like tumbling, and dancing in my routine too!" Her favorite gymnastics skill is "my double twist on Floor". Elizabeth started gymnastics when she was in Kindergarten. To date, her biggest gymnastics accomplishment is "Getting my Pirouette bail on bars. Also connecting it with my double back!". Although the being tall makes bars challenging at time at times, accomplishing new skills and perfecting them makes it all worth it! Not a lot of people know Elizabeth started dance when she was only 2 years old and was in Competitive Dance for 7 years! Elizabeth's favorite book is Courage to Soar by Michelle Burford and Simone Biles, and when Elizabeth is not at the gym she enjoys shopping!

Our JO Girls Levels 3 & 4 Teams are SO EXCITED to compete in their second meet of the Competitive Season... Flips Fall Hoe Down!

We are proud to announce Victory Rabanus (JO Girls Level 4 Team) as our September Student of the Month!

Victory's favorite event is Floor because "I love the tumbling!" Her favorite gymnastics skill is a Back-Layout. Victory started gymnastics when she was only 3 years old. To date, her biggest gymnastics accomplishment is "Scoring high enough to go to our first meet last year AND this year!". Although the beam routine can be challenging at times, Victory loves the Tumble Trak. Not a lot of people know Victory won the Junior Royalty Princess at Rosemount High School last year! When Victory is not at the gym, she enjoys reading all chapter books!

This coming weeking, our JO Girls Levels 2-5 Teams will compete in WI at Tumble in the Valley!

We are proud to announce Jayla Kral (JO Girls Level 2 Team) as our August Student of the Month!

Jayla's favorite event is Vault because "I like jumping on the spring board." Her favorite gymnastics skill is a Back-Bend Kick-Over on Floor. Jayla started gymnastics when she was only 2 years old. To date, her biggest gymnastics accomplishment is "Doing my Mill Circle on Bars by myself!". Although pull-ups are challenging at times, Jayla loves her Team, her Coach, and learning new things. Not a lot of people know Jayla loves to ride her bike! When Jayla is not at the gym, she enjoys Swimming, Playing Games with her family (like Go Fish, Memory, and Old Maid), and reading books like 'Rainbow Fairy' and 'Berenstain Bears'.

We are proud to announce Alana Oden (JO Girls Level 3 Team) as our June Student of the Month!

Alana's favorite event is Bars because "I get to work on the pit bar." Her favorite gymnastics skill is a Kip on Bars! Alana started gymnastics when she was only 5 years old. To date, her biggest gymnastics accomplishment is "Getting my back-walkover on Beam!!". Although keeping up with her big sisters can be challenging at times, Alana loves flipping on the trampoline and getting new skills! Not a lot of people know she has EIGHT pet chickens! When Alana is not at the gym, she enjoys jumping on the trampoline with friends and reading books from the 'Breyer horse series'.
