Girls Gymnastics Team

The goal of EGA's Women's Gymnastics program is to bring our young athletes to their fullest potential in competitive gymnastics.

Our competitive team program puts an emphasis on discipline, perseverance, mental awareness, and team unity. Our highly experienced coaching staff is dedicated to offer each gymnast the best professional instruction in competitive USA Gymnastics. They are extremely passionate about their role in guiding gymnasts through training and helping them develop into strong, disciplined athletes both mentally and physically.

Our competitive girls team members practice 8-25 hours per week.

We are proud to announce Alana Oden (JO Girls Level 3 Team) as our June Student of the Month!

Alana's favorite event is Bars because "I get to work on the pit bar." Her favorite gymnastics skill is a Kip on Bars! Alana started gymnastics when she was only 5 years old. To date, her biggest gymnastics accomplishment is "Getting my back-walkover on Beam!!". Although keeping up with her big sisters can be challenging at times, Alana loves flipping on the trampoline and getting new skills! Not a lot of people know she has EIGHT pet chickens! When Alana is not at the gym, she enjoys jumping on the trampoline with friends and reading books from the 'Breyer horse series'.

Keep up the good work, Alana!

We are proud to announce Kayla Linville (JO Girls Level 7 Team) as our May Student of the Month!

Kayla's favorite event is Bars because "I have more skills I enjoy doing." Her favorite gymnastics skill is a Giant on Bars! Kayla started gymnastics when she was only 6 years old. To date, her biggest gymnastics accomplishment is "Receiving 1st Place at Regionals on Bars!!". Although perfecting some skills can be challenging at times, Kayla loves learning new skills and competing! Not a lot of people know she loves cats -- especially her kitten, Lucy! When Kayla is not at the gym, she enjoys rock climbing and reading her favorite book 'Hunger Games'.

Keep up the good work, Kayla!

We are proud to announce Riley McLagan (JO Girls Level 4 Team) as our March Student of the Month!

Riley's favorite event is Floor because "It is FUN!." Her favorite gymnastics skill is a handstand! Riley started gymnastics when she was only 18 months old and she loves all the gymnastics friends she has made along the way. To date, Riley's biggest gymnastics accomplishment is "Making the Team".
