Program details

Cross Sport Training — athletic conditioning for every sport

Cross Sport Training is built for athletes who play other sports — hockey, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, football, dance and more. Using EGA’s spring floor, foam pit, bars, beams and vault, athletes build the strength, flexibility, balance, body control and safe-landing skills that carry into every sport and help prevent injuries.

Each class includes a dynamic warm-up and stretch, station circuit training, agility and obstacle courses, and team games.

When classes meet

Fridays in the Main Gym, 60 minutes each:

  • 4:30–5:30pm
  • 5:40–6:40pm

Ages 5–13, with a 15:1 student-to-instructor ratio. Classes start Friday, October 9, 2026.

Tuition is $25 per class, billed for the number of classes scheduled that month — see the Tuition tab, and the Vacation & Tuition Billing Calendar for the months each class meets.

Common questions

What is Cross Sport Training?

Cross Sport Training is athletic conditioning, not a gymnastics class. It is built for athletes who already play another sport — hockey, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, football, dance and more — and builds the strength, flexibility, balance, body control and safe-landing skills that carry back into that sport and help prevent injuries.

Who can join Cross Sport Training?

Athletes ages 5 to 13 from any sport. Registration is open online, so you can book a spot without calling first. Classes run with a 15:1 student-to-instructor ratio.

When does Cross Sport Training meet?

Fridays, with two 60-minute classes — 4:30–5:30pm and 5:40–6:40pm. Both meet in the Main Gym.

What does a class include?

A dynamic warm-up and stretch, station circuit training, agility and obstacle courses, and team games, using EGA's spring floor, foam pit, bars, beams and vault.

What does Cross Sport Training cost?

$25 per class, billed monthly for the number of classes actually scheduled that month — $75 for a 3-class month, $100 for 4 and $125 for 5. Tuition is billed automatically on the 15th for the following month.

Is Cross Sport Training a gymnastics class?

No. CST uses the gym and the coaching staff, but the goal is athletic performance in the athlete's own sport. If you want your child learning gymnastics skills and levels, look at recreational gymnastics instead.
